The textures are very creamy, but don't always apply the smoothest. With the gold shade, I find that the shadow applies smooth and steady but with clumps of product that can't be blended out. With the lighter shade I find it doesn't apply evenly all over the lid with your finger so I have taken to using a concealer brush to apply it.

Wearing both of these shadows with a primer underneath, one creases, one doesn't. Bold Gold stands true to its name and will not budge or smudge throughout the whole day- blood, sweat, and tears- it'll last. Barely Branded on the other hand, I have had trouble with it creasing after 6-7 hours, even with an eyeshadow on top to set it.
Pro's:
- Drugstore (accessible + cheap)
- Wide Range of colours
- Generally smooth
- Easy application
- Waterproof
- Does not smudge
Con's:
- May clump/flake
- Might crease
Within this range of shadows, there is two lines, the original (Bold Gold) and the exclusive Metal Line (Barely Branded.) They are both contrasting to each other, so it is possible that the formulation was slightly changed when creating the second line.
Although these shadows on me do not entirely live up to their name, they are still beautiful colours that are quick and easy to apply and don't smudge. Even with the slight clumping and creasing I will still use these products as the colours and textures will be absolutely fab for the spring and summer. 24 hr Maybelline colour tattoos, some seem to love them, others hate 'em- I have a feeling I fall somewhere in the middle.
